1. Tweeting only on special events: This is a very common mistake that people think that tweeting once a week is enough. But that is a very big mistake. Your followers may start avoiding you because they will follow only those pages which provide them with interesting and enjoyable tweets regularly.
2. Not listening to your followers: If you do not listen to your followers or do not reply them in appropriate time, you are taking risk of losing them.
3. Posting stupid or boring content: If you are not posting boring or uninteresting content then you should not expect your followers to be with you for a long time.
4. Long tweets: Long tweets must be avoided as they are likely to be read for lesser number of followers.
5. Having no profile picture: If you have no profile picture, most of the viewers will think your profile to be nothing but spam. So, you should place a good picture on your profile.
6. Talking about your product only: If you do not talk about anything other than selling your product, then you should never expect your followers to increase. This is something they hate, so do advertisement but some other interesting or funny content must also be there.
7. No information about yourself: This also makes your profile look like as if it is a “fake” one. So place necessary and important information about yourself and your company.
